The things that make our lives better.

The furniture

"Go scratch your own designer chair" is something we will be able to shout at the cat from March 2018, because that is when IKEA is launching its first series for pets - Lurvig. The name means furry, but don't worry - your Canadian Sphynx probably doesn't speak Swedish.

The building
While we mourn our reality and wait for our skyscrapers, the art students in Bergen are chasing their muse in this multi-storey jewell's halls. Hats off to the designers (Snøhetta) and "get your hands off" to everyone who tries to pitch us anything not as beautiful in the future.

The knives
They may be small but their multifunctionality makes them a huge deal. Take yours for 30/40BGN from Домоcharm and be careful, if you don't want to know how a bird bite feels.

New Autumn
Dido Peshev is taking his new brand to the new season with screen printing on everything from sweatshirts to cotton wallets - we loved the deer and the stache, but now we dearly shake the hand of Bare Hands Society.

The elevator
We couldn't get into Ferdinand's royal elevator - one of the first in the world, which has just been discovered, so we used another one. It takes you up  to 156 metres above Snejanka peek, where you find out how the Rhodope Mountains look from the sky. We'll tell you how - like the infinite chambers of a god.

The jewellery
Brass is good for pipes and utensils, but paint it in black and you've got this awesome jewell. We stopped by magazinche.com just to check it out and left with three sets of earrings and this ring. We're still looking for the author, so if he/she is reading this: just know that your arrow is sharp.

The book
Taschen are taking us behind the scenes of The Man Who Fell to Earth, in which David Bowe is actually playng a man from another planet, which we've always suspected he was. For €14.99 we go through unique photos from the set, texts and an interview with photographer David James.

The ravens
We're reminded of them by crowdedcities.com that suggests that these guys will help us clean our cities from cigarette buds. Fantasy? Not really - this bird is actually smart as a dolphin, uses gestures and can even feel empathy.

The ad
The one that promoted Bulgaria around the globe with @globemakers - the Instagram atelier of London-based globe masters' firm, who've shared curious facts about our country in posts for a whole week. Hey, you, with the 2680 hearts for our Trifon Zarezan, come say cheers in February.

Gary Fisher
We are watching the first trailer of The Last Jedi together and somewhere's raining - Gary is the frenchie of Carrie Fisher, who passed away last December but he is still repeating #garymisseshismom on Instagram. We'll comment on the trailer when we dry out.
