"Documentary cinema has some moral boundaries - I could've shot with a real family, but it seemed wrong to me. You need to always think about how how much you take from people, even if they've told you they're ok with it."

With this thought in his mind the documentary director decided to try his hand with a feature film, 10 years after his first short Goleshovo and 5 years after his second project - Sofia's Last Ambulance.. His newest title is 3/4: a portrait of a family in their last summer together. Filmed with unprofessional actors playing roles close to their real life selves, the film won a Golden Leopard in Locarno a year ago.
