The dance is a conversation and every word changes your life - that is how choreographer and co-founder of Derida Dance Center describes the philosophy of his "philology".

He's been teaching it for years but he actually starts speaking "body language" pretty late - at 20, while he's already a student at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. His passion for body expressions takes him to Australia where he learns that you don't need the support of the classical ballet to be good at contemporary dance. All you need is the ability to feel and the bravery to express all emotions. Just a couple of years later Jivko builds and runs a whole theatre in Spain, along with collegue Atanas Maev, and today his talent have created more than 30 performances under Derida Dance Center's roof - the dream that brings the two artists back to Bulgaria and has just won them their first Ikar Award with S Inner.
