She would camp ouside the venue to be at the front for a concert of Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Rolling Stones. She also loves music biographies where she reads about relationships between the people in a band. Helps her as a Paraplanner's frontlady, where she pulls the strings of the bass, and we know from the conversation that she is also very good on the piano.

  • Jluch between the rhymes

    5 September 2019

    text and photo Sevda Semer

"I am a terrible executioner," he admits at once - for everything but his work. Jluch is prepared for the worst, and finds his luck to go off like a microphone on the stage, which doesn't mean he ever loses his temper. He believes in the thought and quality of the beat, which does not pour bad words with the correct number of syllables, but rhymes with content. His topics range from the most personal gloomy states to political messages, which is true of what he often says in interviews - his music is also heard by people who do not understand the genre otherwise.

For his first rap battle in his Varna Phillip takes an ID card of a friend so he can go into the club because he's only 14 back then. Soon after, he's already assembling finished songs under the pseudonym Secta, and at that moment he meets Nikolay a.k.a Kotich, whose instrumentals immediately lie under his rhymes. At the same time, Kotich is acting behind the video camera of the Secta's music videos and one of them Lesh had been watched for over 4 million times on Youtube. After the first moments of glory, the rapper realizes his responsibilities of an artist and start to work on his debut album KlassA, which from near a month we are playing on Spotify. Before you go through it either, we let you down some of the personal favorites of Secta, among which we detect the rhymes of eternal Eminem, the song for bad days and the one that takes him back home.

It all started when we heard his song Angels , which is a soundtrack on a warm night on which you go a long way, the headlamps opposite dazzle you, the views are blurred, the window is open and the breathing is somehow easier ... That's how we handle the Heptagram music. Behind this pseudonym Daniel Ivanov composes, plays and sings. He is a person who does not appear on social networks and for whom we know almost nothing before we meet in the park face to face.
  • British synth pop: Kat Mchugh from Polo

    7 March 2019

    text Kristina Yordanova

"Polo deliver glass-shattering production and coloured with slashes of sparse and beautiful vocals", Noisey says about their single Vision of Fortune, which spread its pop/r'n'b insights in 2015. Two years later the trio from Leed collected their pieces in an EP called Alice and today they captue us with a neon video for the song On My End. That's enough for us to want to hear the voice of the frontlady Kat Machugh with а couple of questions, but there is even more explicit reason - on March 23 Polo are coming to town for a concert with the band Hayes & Y. Right now they are on tour around Britain and we are catching Kat's voice among the urban noise from the streets of Liverpool, when we are asking about a conversation on the train and a couple more things.

The alternative Bulgarian scene is going strong lately, but it has never been as amazing as this year. Our playlist for 2018 is with dirty guitars, distinctive voices, and a touch of an indie note of seven bands and a solo lady who deserve a place in your top for the past 12 months. As you rotate the songs, however, do not miss the beginning - the musicians tell how the songs have appeared in the white world so they can reach your columns.

Their name comes from a dream of the singer Bjorn Dixgord, in which one man shouts in his face "Mando Diao!". In reality, the Swedes hit alternative and garage rock until a spark slips and it's comings for a concert here. The rumor spreads like warm bread amongst their fans and five of them put us on a favorite song, warmed by the reasons why we have to go listen them live, so we take the time, put the headphones and make sure that going to Sofia Live Club is worth it.

  • The things of the stage: Timbe from Bad Copy

    12 July 2018

    text Natalia Ivanova

When we first found ourselves in the audience of the rap trio in Novi Sad, we realized that something was wrong with us – we didn't know the lyrics of their songs. This is how it became clear how big they were in Serbia, and then we learned why – in the 1990s, along with Beogradski sindikat, Bad Copy were among the first to develop the hip-hop music in the country, with humor, irony and minimalistic beats as Timbe tells us.

With his 4.45 words a minute speed, he is unofficially faster than Eminem, but that is not what is important - the music by this Brighton born and raised grime guru is raw energy that sprints through genres with punching lyrics. Before we feel its power live at Terminal 1, four fans are preping us with the tracks, with which they dive deep into Ocean Wisdom.
