"Beni in Japanese means scarlet, nikki means diary," explains Albena in one of the first lines she wrote on benikki.tumblr.com (now bembeni.com).

The year is 2010 when she, just graduated in Japanese Language, goes away to specialize at the Tokyo University and starts uploading photos and stories about her friends on her website. However, the narrow circle of readers gradually grew and Albena started sharing her poetry as well. She self-published her first book Poems in 2014, and today Janet 45 prints her second one - Poems that make you want to live. Meanwhile, she changed the course of her life by becoming a specialist in Finance in Dusseldorf.

Albena Todorova is on bembeni.com
The premiere of her new poetry book is on 26 September at 19:00 at the Youth Theater (Mladezhki Teatar)
