    It was 1995 when for the first time the UBA gathered the new directions in graphic art in a big exhibition. However, 25 years have passed since the triennial hasn't ceased to develop - today, for example, it also includes digital graphics or graphic installations.

    Last year we grabbed our spoons for the first Melba Festival, which now serves us a second batch of good design. The definition of the word is broad and the program reflects it - it has everything from the rigorous industrial lines that inspired today's minimalist smartphones to the art of colored dots, pumpkins and mirrors. There is an exhibition between 7 and 17 of November at Port A with the best of Bulgarian design; an international symposium; and a film program.

    Here's DA Fest again, gathering the strongest examples of digital art by over 60 artists. Curators Venelin Shurelov and Galina Dimitrova-Dimova have chosen works that play with the senses, bring us into space landscapes or provoke our taste. Between October 22 and 26, the program is so rich that there will definitely be something for your appetite.
  • Night Plovdiv 2019

    If you feel that you have not fully lived the European Capital of Culture, put a few energy blocks in your pocket and go to Plovdiv between September 13 and 15. After a year's break, the Night returns with galleries, museums, music, ateliers and a rather unexpected start: the A.S.T.R.A.L.O.R.A.C.L.E.S art collective performs a ritual for frequency alignment with oracle clothes, DNA-activated hair, colorful essences, and more things that for now we have no idea what they mean. It starts on September 13 at 19:35 and lasts 44:40 minutes, after which we watch the program at another frequency.
