This Way for the Festivals

We know where you want to be right now but leave the shores for next month. Until the end of this one the right directions are three and sound like this: North for an electronic party, Southeast for modern folklore and Northeast for the "wrongest" kind of rock.

Balkan Station
June 18-19
In the forest next to Balkan railway station. It's a 30-hour non-stop electronic party with a long list of artists. Tickets cost 15BGN from Eventim and 20BGN if you buy them on spot. More info on the Facebook event page.

Zenith Fusion Festival

June 24-26
At Dolen village, a historical and architectural reserve in the Rhodope mountains. There will be camping, beer brewing, cultural lectures, workshops, vocal and instrumental masterclasses and much more. Wrong Fest
June 25-26
At Voynegovtsi village, 16km or 25 minutes away from Sofia. You get there by car, bike, bus 21-22 or shuttle from the Vasil Levski monument and you can set up a tent at the festival grounds. Food and drinks are forbidden but you can buy them from the Wrong Bar. Otherwise the music is everything from rock'n'roll through blues rock to alternative.
