We chose the cheesburger in our new favourite restaurant, MEAT - it packs together superb ingredients, fresh vegetables and onion, bread that is just out of the oven, and mayonnaise, which we order again for the french fries. This is a solid, classic cheeseburger (no surprises at all, sometimes we just don't need any) and we have it with beer. You can choose between Vedett and the local craft beer Glarus. Both are great choices. MEAT is at Angel Kanchev Str. 1

The burger has a star in the menu to mark it as a signature dish, but it has at least five in our hearts. Why? Well, because it simply changes the way we think about burgers - from now on, we will be impressed only from those that are so serious, they come with instructions to tell us how to eat it. But let's talk about the bread - one of the main ingredients in burgers, in which many other places fail. This one is with roasted seeds that enrich the taste and are a great detail. You're looking at the Italian with salsicce, mozzarella and marinara sauce. You definitely need to be quite hungry for this one - it's a big portion with two whole potatoes on the side. We'll admit it right away - at first we were quite skeptic, because we love classic burgers, but we were charmed from the Gastronauts' take on Italian. The roasted peppers instead of tomatoes were amazing for the chopped meat, and the melted mozzarella had us at Hello. 33 Gastronauts are at Professor Asen Zlatarov Str. 14
