"Richard Jones' bold, bright and witty reading adds extra warmth and humor to this beloved doomed love story," The Londonist wrote of the imposing version of the classic that recently hit the stage in Covent Garden.

And even though we watch it on screen in Sofia, the camera captures the action and voices from the best seats in the showroom, from where we see in detail the set design of theTony award-winning Stewart Laing, who transports us straight to an attic in Paris in the 19th century. There we also look into the bohemian life of poor poet Rodolfo (American tenor Charles Castronovo), who changes completely when he accidentally meets the affectionate Mimi suffering from tuberculosis. In her role is our soprano Sonia Yoncheva, who has experience with the character from La Scala in Milan, the Berlin Opera and the Metropolitan in New York, and her voice follows the fiercely emotional twists and turns of the eternal libretto of Giuseppe Jacosa and Luigi Ilica.
