Knives Out is the juiciest mirage in the genre for years and does much more than bow to Agatha Christie's land - it keeps the viewer in the air for 130 minutes, loaded with devilishly good fun, including Hitchcock drops. At first glance, he wonders who the master is behind: Ryan Johnson is the guy who shot The Last Jedi in 2017 and will soon be coming out with a whole new Star Wars trilogy. In the meantime, however, in our galaxy he is a sworn fan of the crime thriller and has been able to write a cruel script that tickles the brain all the time but has no clue. Even though it starts off as standard: in a Gothic mansion in the countryside, the patriarch of a wealthy family was found slit in the morning after a party for his 85th birthday. The clues are adamant that this could not be murder, but Detective Benoit Blank receives an anonymous envelope containing money and an order to track down the killer. The question of who is calling him is one of the main characters in a mystery that otherwise investigates all members of the greedy and corrosive annoying family. It is a pleasure to meet them replica by replica and face to face - famous actors chew Johnson's kefir script to the fullest of the viewer as his eyes glow over the magnificent set of designs in anticipation of the next secret drawer to open.
