• Opera of the Peaks

    The natural forms of the Belogradchik rocks are once again a stage of two ballets, three operas and one musical from the Sofia Opera's repertoire (all starting at 20:00), while Wagner's melodies echo the day with the natural acoustics of the Magura cave.

  • Opera in the Park

    The year is 2009 when Maestro Plamen Kartalov wins the stage for one of his ideas - in the summer the Sofia Opera is going out in the air. Everyone who has been at least once at the Opera in the Park knows how they are excited about these shows, and now, for his first 10, the festival has been broadcasting music around the Military Academy for audiences of (at least) three generations.

    A week of full improvisation sounds like an alarm for a theatre group, unless those waters are hers. This is the case with ShiZi Pro, who have been playing rolls behind the International Impro Fest for the third time, and have boarded actors from the United States and Israel to Greece and Australia for professional lessons (shizi.bg for more info) and scenario shows here and now with beginning at 19:30. We look at them on a chamber stage in Salza and Smyah from September 24th to 30th, and down there we get to know the little one, which is clear beforehand.
