The Things From Life: Luis Bassat

24 November 2016 text Violeta Ivanova
"When we won the competition for the Olympic ceremonies in Barcelona I knew this would become the most important project of my life". Boooom. The rest of his CV sounds equally impressive - starting with a place in a rock band when he was 22 and finishing with the recognition "most influential advertiser of the 20th century".

His campaigns - under the Bassat Ogilvy logo - have won hundreds of prizes from big ad festivals. And when Luis doesn't watch Barcelona's games (he's so involved with the team, he almost became president of the official fan club), he looks for more and more ways to practice his religion: creativity.

Luis Bassat's book The Creativity is available in bookstores for 16BGN
His lecture about creativity is on November 30th at 17:00 at Sofia University's ceremonial hall, the entrance is free of charge
The Modern Catalan Art exhibition is at Kvadrat 500 between November 29th and January 15th
